Superb Ski Accommodation
We stayed at Furano Sanso this December and it was situated in a great location that is near the ski slopes, restaurants and good onsens! Our young kids had ski lessons that was less than 10 mins drive from Furano Sanso! Ski Rental - Rhythm was just opposite the house which made it very convenient to borrow / return the skis. The kitchen was well equipped and it enabled us to prepare dinner at night! The toilet had heated flooring that serves as an additional touch to the accommodation! Will definitely be back again!
Fantastic Stay perfect location
We have travelled to ski in many countries and had an exceptional stay and family holiday at Furano Sanso. The house was beautifully renovated and fully equipped with everything you need, super comfortable beds a drying room for skis and gear, the lounge and kitchen perfect for making dinners and relaxing after skiing . Easy short walk to the Gondola and close to bars and restaurants, while Lawsons short walk for supplies . Highly recommend, we will be back again for the powder!
Trip of a life time! Best ski base for a busy young family!
Where do I start?!? This was by far the best ever family holiday we’ve ever had. The home was clean, warm, beautifully renovated, the kitchen well stocked and the drying room for ski equipment second to none. Honestly so amazing and so convenient! Only a short stroll up to the ski lifts and ski hire shop. We’re a very busy family of 5-with kids aged 5,9,11 and we’d never skied before so we wanted the accommodation to be comfortable and homely after long days on the slopes. The bath was perfect for sore muscles and the window seat off the kitchen had the most beautiful view - many cups of tea and a few apres ski beers were happily consumed. Couldn’t recommend this place more. You have to stay here if you come to Furano!
Home away from home
We made a last minute decision to go snowboarding in Hokkaido. Our first stop was Hakodate to see our relatives but I was thinking of going to Niseko with 3 kids first after that. I am so happy that we decided to come to Furano instead and stay at Furano Sanso. The place was so much like home away from home. After good round of snowboarding all day at the beautiful Furano we just wanted to chill out in the night time and that was exactly what this place offered. We had a rental car to drive around Furano to explore restaurants, cafe etc. There are so many places that we wanted to go but could not in this trip and we will save it for our next trip that our kids are already looking forward to. Thank you very much host for having us. Furano see you again soon.
Perfect base for skiing
We stayed with a famiky ages 3-10. It was a perfect base for a skiing holiday. The gondola was a 5 minute walk. The house is extremely comfortable and has a drying room for all of your ski gear. The kitchen is fantastic and very well stocked. Overall, a fantastic place for families or couple looking for a clean, well appointed house close to skiing. We are definitely coming back again!
Unforgettable stay
Furano Sanso is a newly renovated, immaculately appointed house mere steps from the Kitanomine gondola and snowfields. The house interior is beautiful, particularly the living area, which offers breathtaking views toward the Furano township (a 5 minute drive away) and spectacular Mount Tokachi. The house itself contains all creature comforts, including kitchen, laundry, drying room, bath and luxury appliances. Three generous bedrooms easily accommodated 4 adults and 4 children, and the mattress is amongst the best I’ve ever slept on! Travelling to the house was very straightforward and the streets surrounding Furano Sanso have everything you need, including a Lawson! Suffice to say we are already planning our next visit. Thank you Furano Sanso for an unforgettable stay.
